Kafka's Green Beans

Like I promised, here is the new song. It has taken me a while to write something new, I hope I haven't forgotten the skill  :-\

Some worlds are not at all so incompatible, with a bit of imagination and fatuousness.

Kafkaís Green Beans

It may be an idea
To have a grooming dick
Tattooed on my cheeks
Like a permanent sideburn
To show Iím a man
And Iím also the guy
Who cares for the arts
As much as I can.

A ready double remedy
A point to my community
To paint me - please - as one of them
Or never again.

Tell me the news
Iíll believe anything
Red is blue is green
Red is blue is green

If thatís what I need
To be respected by all
Iíll purchase a Tee
Made of womanskin
To show that I know
Thereís too many of us
And I care for recycling
As much as I can

A double ready remedy
Soft and warm against the cold
The fashion of the bold
Or never again

Really enjoyed this.  Interesting sound and lyrics and the guitar at the instrumental around 1:21 is awesome!

Thank you :) I have been tinkering with the bass sound a lot, to be honest. I used flatwounds, but that sounds a little mellow. I wanted it to be a little more thumpy, and I hope it is ok now.

Yes, every now and then I hear somebody using flatwounds. And I must say you manage them quite well.
Last time I used them, I think it mustíve been 1967 or so. I put rotosound round wound on my bass. The only improvement since then is that I started using stainless steel for more brightness. But mainly still Rotosound.

But enough about me and my hobby horse theories.

I like your song a lot. But then Iíve always been a fan of yours!
You capture me in a mood and you keep me there. Very nice!
Kind regards, Gus

Hola @Pleudoniem

I had a great time listening to your track! Very interesting, fun, contemporary, many colors.
I love the use of FX and what the guitars do.
The part 2'40 approx, when a synth appears can it have excess treble? But no matter, it has been quite a sound show!

Stay well
