Enjoying this one @Pleudoniem  - it's whacky and retro in a good way.

I love how it's real instruments as well and that it has a real organic sound.

The vocals are great - a demonic anguished feel to them.

Well done

cheers

@Jurgen Thank you :) Yes, I consider it a challenge to learn how to play actual instruments. I teach myself and I practise by composing songs. The guitar riff in the background is me practising tapping technique on the guitar, because I didn't think I could do that very well yet. I still don't, but it's fun.

The demonic feel is there indeed, and it is quite genuine. I am glad you liked it, because I am not very confident about my singing.

Don Quijote -esque lyrics ,omnipotent power floating just beyond the sentence and the music.
Funk Rock , more Punk Rock to me. Which brings back Kafka in. You did get the work done ;-)

@Chris Spruit The bass and the drum are quite funk based. Punk rarely uses guitar taps and it usually has quite a different rhythm. I think the song is just an odd mix of a varety of things. I do agree with you that funk rock is a bit of a misnomer, but I don't know what else to call it, really...  :-\

I've changed the snare to a different type. I think this one sounds less noisy than the other one, and I think i like it better. For the drummers among you,  I used to have a Ludwig 14 x 6.5, but now it is a Taye 14 x 7.

@Chris Spruit I changed the label to GrungeFunk Rock. I think that must be slightly more accurate.
