Glad I found this - there are so few "better world" songs that resonate these days; yours does it for me!
I thought it had a Carol King feel. Nice simple arrangement and warm vocals.
 I`m a sucker for a duet.

Robert

Sorry, I have to disagree with you where few better world songs are concerned.
There’s so much you can do between the Kitchen table and your bed that will inevitably lead to a better world, a better party....., and therefore better world songs that there’s no reason to be listening to whining songs if that’s what you don’t like. It’s almost like a children’s defense course. If you don’t feel comfortable with all the negative vibes? Write positive songs.

I am sounding a little bit weird maybe, but take it from me, please. Try it and you’ll be astonished at the creative powers we have at our disposal.
There are many more positive reasons to write a song, than negative ones. We’ve been led to believe that we should suffer for our art. And we’ve come to believe in it.

If Edie wants to dance naked on the kitchen table? Make sure she doesn’t wear stilettos. They will ruin the table. But apart from that? A great idea.
Just to give you an idea what we’re up against.

This song has all the positive vibes without Edie.
Great Workman/workwomanship. What more could we ask for?
Nothing but positive vibes all along. Glad you mentioned cArole King. One of my heroines since day one.
Just my view on things.
Kind regards, Gus

Hey @robertkc ...thanks for that. I have to again thank @Chris Spruit for this beautiful arrangement....and for her excellent ears during the mix process which helped immensely in keeping our vocals sounding warm and natural.

Ah, Gus @LePlongeur .......I do love your perspective on these things, my friend.
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

@Mutrins ......hey, Micky. Thanks for your appreciation of this one. That melody and piano from @Chris Spruit was pure gospel right from the start.
