Lyrics: Katze Konigsberg @Katze Konigsberg
Music: Gus LePlongeur
Drums: Four Fourty Four on the Floor (Thank you!!!)

https://soundcloud.com/user-973930366/let-your-heart-decide-II

A musical quote is included in the intro.

Searching for something else, I came across these very musical and inspirational lyrics by Katze.

I made two sketsches, numbered aptly I and II and got OK to post them.
So here is #II, I hope you will give #I a spin too.

Maybe Katze is able to help me out, since I don't seem to be able to find the lyrics. Or I would have included the link here. Hoping that someone else gives a go with one of the lyrics posted there.

The lyrics as such:

Let your heart decide

When I walk through the dark
I realise love is hard to find
when I see the beauty
I never give up. Let your heart decide

When I walk through the dark
I realise there is love to find
when I see the beauty
I never give up. Let your heart decide

Let your heart decide

I am not afraid. So come closer
I am not afraid. At all
I am not afraid. So come closer

And let your heart decide

(Katze Konigsberg - lyrics)

On behalf of Katze too, kind regards, Gus

The drumming is by Four Fourty Four on the Floor and I like that a lot. It's augmented with extra (finger drumming) cymbals by myself.
I hope you like it. @Katze @oorlab

Kind regards, Katze and Gus

Yes, it has a 'take no prisoners' attitude doesn't it?
Secretly I hope for another collab with Katze singing for instance.....
Thank you for listening! @Katze Konigsberg  @Mo
Kind regards, Katze and Gus

@LePlongeur .........I like both versions....they are very different. This one wins my vote with the subtle nod to The Surfaris.

In the soundtrack of my youth, The Surfaris certainly play a role. And I still have the Wipe Out single.
The drum track is called 'Surf drum track 140BPM' and that's exactly what it is.

Not having posted a surf based song here before, that idea appealed to me. And I had a lot of fun making it.
It's just a sketch, perhaps I should re-record it some day.

Thank you for listening @Leonard Scaper  @Katze Konigsberg
Kind regards, Gus

I can understand why most people seem to prefer the surf one.
Baroquish ballads are a love it or hate it thing and  are very much out of vogue.  Unless you do some Brittain's got talent type of scream yodeling.
That is not my thing, as you've noticed.
Thank you for listening to both. I'll be looking out for your music @LostBoy
Kind regards, Gus

Hola @LePlongeur @Katze Konigsberg

love the intro, and when the guitar appears, it's great!
that style has taken me to other times, those in which people danced gracefully

The battery is great !!!

Purely for the benefit of others, batterie is drums in French. The spelling thingy makes something else of it.

@oorlab mentioned the drums as well.

And I like the drums to bits. Added some extra cymbals for some extra noise.  @Mora Amaro La Loba @Katze Konigsberg

Thank you for listening and your (as always) nice comments.
Kind regards, Gus

@LePlongeur Very Acoustic Pop Rock Music  ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb::

Congratulations!!!!!
The infinite stupidity of our political leaders and the powerful who handle their strings have always marked the present and the future of the human species

Energetic , anthemic and a retro-raggedy big sound @LePlongeur & @Katze Konigsberg - definitely prefer version2. Those drums are great ( have to investigate; is it a loop?
Those are very romantic, positive lyrics !

Robert

So sorry I missed this post.

And to answer your question: No, it's a YouTube entry by Four Fourty Four on the floor and I like it a lot. (Thank you FFFOTF!!!)

But it was @Katze Konigsberg 's musical and hopeful lyrics that got me started @robertkc
Thank you for listening.
Kind regards, Gus

Felicidades!!!

Here back again, take care, you are really active those days, a good example!!!
