I think i get what your going for but, and I agree there is a menacing undertone, but I think the vocal 'letting go' is a little too overpowering. I think you could still give the uneasy impression and have things more balanced.
Interesting concept though, and I think you could work with it.

Yeah this one has a very awkward dark feel to me. I actually felt uncomfortable listening to this song and I hope you don't interpret that a bad thing! I could imagine a lot of options for this track... For example a psychological thriller or a dark drama movie. Very, very well done my friend!
