Hi guys :) here's the very first song I ever posted on tones forum, but it now has a video to go with it, which I've been working on forever, and it just never seems to get finished, so I decided, finished

or not, I'm posting it ::) Let me know what you think of the video and the song of course :) :) I hope you enjoy and I'll post the lyrics asap :) :)

Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul
Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul

Listen, won't you listen, can't you hear our mother crying
Listen, won't you listen, can't you hear the earth she's crying

Children of the earth, it's time for us to wake
The earth's alarms been ringing, to stop this senseless waste
We've bought the illusion, of the endless supply
Now comes the consequences of this lie

Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul
Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul

Children of the earth, look what we have done
Corporation junkies, controlling everyone
No heart, no soul, just constant greed
Raping our mother until she bleeds

Listen, won't you listen, can't you hear our mother crying
Poison, in the system, and we think that she's surviving

spoken part

Listen, won't you listen, can't you hear our mother crying
The silent, spring is coming, as the seeds of life are dying

Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul
Got to start a revolution, got to rev up the evolution of the soul

Great song CS.  Liked the vid. The 'use' of the wolf was inspired....loved it ;D ;D wouldn't it be great to have him in your band ;D ;D The spoken part was really special CS.....I loved it.  It's becoming a trademark of yours for me.....I
expect it in all your stuff now.....and am never dissapointed ;D ;D

The only thing that 'popped' into my mind (in terms of critique) while I listened, was maybe the guitar was a
bit 'too' busy in places.....but that's my taste, of course.

Great song, great vid....loved it CS.

thanks DB :) I love that you're always right on a song shortly after it's been posted :) that's awesome :)

headphones are the way to go when listening to a song as far as I'm concerned :) I miss so much if I don't us them,  so thanks for appreciating the stereo in this  :)

I'm so happy you liked the song DB and thanks for your very supportive reviews :) :)

thanks bin for your kind words :) the video took me a long time to do, so I'm really glad you liked it and the fact that you picked out the wolf, really made me happy :)

it would be great to have him in a band ;D thanks for liking the spoken stuff :-\ sometimes I wonder if I over do it in songs, but I love doing it, so at least I know I have one fan :)

I know the guitar is a little too busy in places, but once I'd put the video with it, I didn't I didn't know how to replace the track, without getting it all out of sync :)

thanks again bin, you're reviews mean a lot to me :) :)

what a great 4:20 song!!! nice. and if this is your first production well then you're quite a natural as it's a great mix. sweet even stereo spread.
i spent a lot of time growing up in Woodstock NY and played in a zillion reggae bands ( before I discovered DISTORTION lol ) so it speaks to me.
world music is important because it is so connected to the very pulse of life. so great going here on this chillaxin gem of a tune. imagery in video is clutch too/ goes well with whole vibe & also the spoken word parts- very "world celebration". world music is extremely important was it is connected to the very pulse of life. Bob Marley and Peter Tosh would be happy :)
great song. great stuff. - Daren

:) thanks so much for listening Daren and for your kind review :) I totally agree that world music can be expressive of the very pulse of life :) it's so laid back and yet within that pulse you can

express some very emotional concerns about what's going on in the world :) I'm no expert at playing or writing reggae, but this song just fell into it so naturally :) I'm glad you think

Marley and Tosh would be happy ;D what more could I ask for :) :)

Thanks again Stylus  :)  you are so very supportive and I love ya   :) :)
