@Mo :) Virtual Synthesizer Technology. It is a Steinberg trademark, but it has been adopted worldwide.

If you use a Mac, and I suspect you do, because you use GB, you could also use AU, which stands for Audio Unit (I believe).
Pleudoniem: composer; bass guitarist; guitarist; singer; drummer; tap-guitarist - o, and yes... erm- a bit of keys. Open for collabs.

oooh, that ending scrambled what I was going to say @Mo . I like the strings- the vocals seem to want to be overpowered., if that makes sense. They`re still moody and interesting ( I thought thelyrics were meant to be felt rather than understood, though the song`s final refrain is clear)I liked the passage @2:15 where you move intothe upper register.
Very  creative arrangement.

Robert

oh thank you for attention Robert, i missed your comment somehow... ::thumb::

I'm just not sure how this is meaned. It's a technical advice what may to do with the vocals? I'm just messing around with an EQ but to say honestly I have no idea how this rather works and what I'm rather doing! I tried to lift the vocals more from the instrumantl tracks that was the idea.

Hi
Back again for another listen! @Mo
Don't know who mentioned voice used as an instrument, but I figure that's the key.
Lovely!
Kind regards, Gus

I truley love if you like the song @Dutchbeat!!  :)
Also it wasn't to far Distance from Germany to Holland for sending emotions over----- :D

@LePlongeur  a key to what?  Anyway....maybe i will say now something stupid..... I really thought that every singer would do that, using the voice as an instrument.... maybe more ore less expressiv.

Sorry for the confusion @Mo , but if some thing is key (or the key) then that the defining part. The dominant part. The part that defines if it's great, in this case.

Don't ever worry about stupid questions as I'm a not native English speaker too. If you've doubts about what I say or mean, please ask.

And no, there are different views on singing. The voice that sings and the rest is mere backing and the voice as one of the instruments. I am inclined to the last option.
Kind regards, Gus

Hey @Mo , thank you for sharing your work with us!!
Love that theme with the strings accompaniment.
I find it very hard to come up with tips/pointers if I'm not aware of your intentions. But I wrote along while listening:

Intro (0:00-0:10) Nice strings, hey why the hi-hat? Is there a rhythm to tune into later?
0:10-1:00  Wow nice voice, sounds theatrical, seems the singer is searching, exploring
1:00-2:00  Love the delicate/shy vocals
2:00-3:00  Beat out of nowhere.. Nice! But why? Nice harmony vocals!
3:00-END   Wow.. very cool and unexpected ending..

These are my 1st impressions and are very personal. Hope they help on your journey.. Feel free to completely ignore them.
Overall cool stuff I liked to explore!

Cheers, Love and Peace,
Mar T.

@Mar T.  I would like to say how crazy your post is for me.
I mean thats so amazing that you were not just listen to the song and did a comment  (what can't be taken for granted also)  but also did yourself and me notes while listening! Thats such an appreciation!

Its  so great experience like-minded people seriously consider the works of others - like you did and that is ALL rather a creative mind could wish for its work. I'm not used to that with my music journey since i started.  Even our sight on things are sometimes different every new perspective helps!
Thank you so much for taking your time to do that notes and comment! :loveit:

@Mo  Hey collab partner, just had a listen......nice work, not sure if you intended this, but for some reason it reminds me of a dark  Cinderella story. Maybe it's the "hey little sister, hey little maid" line?

And now for my critique: Your voice does need to be more forward of the music.....speaking strictly as a listener. May I suggest a few tweaks on some words to the song, without hopefully losing it's meaning or flow. I did a strike through on words to remove and underlined words to add.

Hopefully it helps, and not screw up the timing.

Little sister

Hey little sister,
HEy little maid.
Hey little sister, don't be afraid

You, who made them hear,
was hidden for a thousands years,
'bout female secrets for those to fear.

I wanna hold your cold pale hand.
You  knew there is no final end
just strength to understand.

Hey little sister,
HEY little maid.
Hey little sister, don't be afraid

I wanna have you won't not ignore
we are three  and there are more.
Too flat to drown' em is on the shore.

So much beauty left while others quits
when were while we're glancing through the lids
and saw mothers sometimes eat their kids.

Hey little sister,
HEY little maid.
Hey little sister, don't be afraid

Hey little sister,
HEY little maid.
Hey little sister, don't be afraid

p.s. I really liked the way you ended the song, I was waiting for what was to come up next.....still waiting lol.

Take care,

Kolohe

That's exactly what counts imo @Mo ! The creator is searching and the listener provides his/her perspective/taste... Just providing pointers.. And the creator can use the pointers when they add to the creator's vision OR ignore them if they don't fit into the creators vision. It's just more eyes watching/more ears listening to help you find where you want to go with your creation.
Imo that's how we help each other! Great to read you appreciate that!
Cheers, Love and Peace!

Hello my dear collab partner @Kolohe :D
So nice to read from you!

Not 100% sure what it means but I can see/ hear a difference through your tweaks, simple but brillant for the flow, @Kolohe !
I was surprised about your Cinderella associations, those are not bad thought though it wasn't my intention.
As it is maybe to guess this is a song for women commonly.
But more concret and said short,  I dedicated it to Nico,  @LePlongeur reminded me of recently and i  felt connection.

Just want mention btw  lyrical wise f.e. that 'shore'  in Germany is an expression for Herion,   I could explain the other parts too, but wether its necessary I think nor I want it really.

Thank you all for listen  and share your thoughts. ::thumb::
