This works well.

The only production thing I wonder about is the guitar solo seems a bit distant. I always think of a solo replacing the vocal line and it sounds too ethereal with the reverb. It should grab the listener and carry on telling the story until the vocals return.

Well crafted @Songwriter16 this has all of the elements of songwriting and production nailed down.

I have a different take on the guitar solo than @MrBouzouki ... I like the reverb ... but I want the volume turned up. That solo has good grit and energy and adds contrast to the steady dynamic range of the rest of the mix. If it were turned up about 5db it would cut through and Rock! 😎
