My first album on Spotify (and others)
on: February 01, 2020, 10:31:53
Maybe not the place to share this but it's a happy feeling so why not. In January I stumbled upon RouteNote, a free way of getting your music to the public worldwide. It is a UK based undertaking with - what a joy - 'real people' to serve your interest. It took at least three weeks to get my songs review and approved but then, after less than two days I found my first album of eight originals and one traditional on Spotify! So I proudly present Figs & Thistles: https://open.spotify.com/album/3juC8HLRaDOJfvIGGIknjr
If you dig it, do it. If you dig it a lot, do it twice (Jim Croce).

What a surprise @Charlie . Congratulations to you with this accomplishment!
Making money with this adventure or not, let’s hope that listening-wise it will be very successful!
And, referring to your sig, if you dig it a lot.....
Kind regards, Gus

@Charlie - definitely interested to read more about RouteNote, and how they reviewed your album.
Possibly the Kitchen  Cafe is a good place to post this in, or we could have a new board about distribution of music.
Is there any particular song in your album, you'd be interested to have reviewed here on the kitchen?

Congratulations  ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb: I listened to a couple of your songs... nice work, clear consistent sound, strong lyrics.

I use RouteNote also. I discovered it here in the Kitchen from @realkevm it did a lot of good things for me. I especially like how My music is doing on Pandora.

Your will do well on any platform!

This sounds fantastic @Charlie . I'm listening to it on earbuds while I work. I like that Beatles reference in the first one.
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

Thank you all, @LePlongeur, @oorlab, @Mora Amaro La Loba, @1roomstudio  and @Leonard Scaper for your support. Sorry for my late reply but I was out of town for a few days (Jan van Eyck exposition in Ghent, great!). If one of you wishes to use Routenote don't hesitate to apply by using my referral link https://www.routenote.com/referral/2f861e19 and use referral code 2f861e19. It makes me rich  ;D.
