My second song post! Woo Hoo!
on: May 16, 2017, 18:36:45
This is my 2nd original song. That sounds really weird. Anyways, I just like playing guitar. I hope everyone is well. Thanks in advance for any critiques! Let me have it!

Don't let the recording device hold you back! I've recently started recording with an Android phone too!
Keep moving forward!  ::e-guitar3::

This is a classic low-fi, angst filled recording....and I love it.

You are going to get better at this with every new song but don't even worry about that. Just keep doing this.
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

 "In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

Fine demo - great idea to explore further, recording wise.

@95luisb 2nd original song...then your off to a great start. As a fellow lo-fi recorder, some things that helped me:

I play an idea many times, many time over to try to meld strumming and singing rhythms together. Think about how you vocal fits with your strumming (which is good,,,can already tell you have the talent). Get the melody really clear in your head, this can help with tuning when your singing along and playing at the same time. Sometime it helps to sing the song without the guitar (even in the shower!). I always used to get stuck on that because I thought of myself as first a guitarist and second a vocalist. But at the end of the day people listen to the vocal more than the guitar. You've probably got all this in the bag already anyway but just passing on some things that helped me.

My finished song (LIke IT) and first post :)
