New song: Downtown
on: February 12, 2019, 13:53:10
Hi mates,

Last years I wrote a lot of new songs. One of my favorite is Downtown. I love the melody and structure.

The song is about: going out and having fun in your hometown. After that great night you arrived in the city park and asked yourself a lot of questions. So it's time to go home ;)

I'm curious about your opinion:

Thank you so much!! :)

I like this.  You build up the intro nicely...even a bit of autotune vocalizing in there which is pretty cool, especially after I just listened to @Marcus Nalgaber 's tune where he was doing some of his trademark vocalizing.

I really love the acoustic guitar work in this as well. It really drives the song forward nicely and then takes it out perfectly. This whole song just really works well for me. Good one.

Hello @Jellody

I think you're an excellent songwriter, although the intro shocked me a little the first time I heard it, after hearing it again to make sure, I took the meaning.

Your song is harmonious, very pleasant to hear, the guitar gives a closeness, and the appearance of the bells-marimba in 1'03 gives a beautiful light to the sound.

Good changes in the different parts with enough breathing before your voice reappears and the other instruments are added up to the climax of the end.

I love the couplet and when 2 voices sound.

I really liked your work, a lot. ::thumb::
