New song for review!

Thank you to anyone helping to make this song better with comments and critiques. Let me know how the mix sounds on your speakers!
I would classify this is Rap/Hip Hop but let me know if another genre fits better.

LYRICS:

you donít gotta be mean
to be a monster
you donít wanna be me
Iím just a two-bit cheat

everything is one thing
everything is everything is fine
hit the road sweet
songs help me pass away the time

keep my eyes on the road

what timeís it does anybody know
mix that shit and pour it in a mold
thats my life wonít let go
thats my shit, love and go

do your big thing
donít let it leave without you
live your damn dreams
get enough sleep, or donít, ey! :)

keep an eye peeped
donít want you to miss a thing
get some damn sleep
god only knows you donít

This post is just to let you know I have listened. Twice.
Itís not that I know too little, I know too nothing about your music.
The voice a bit more up front?
Ahhhh...., what do I know.
Kind regards. Gus

I like simple music very much
Because within them always lives the true essence of each one of us

Interesting production. I kind of like the vocal treatment...as an artistic decision it works for me.

How I liked it when starting at 0:35 the song opens..!

Maybe your voice needs to be heard a little harder to emphasize what it says and what you want to make us feel with your thought so expressed.
I think the musical base is very nice, it hooks you.
It seems to me a song with a hypnotic and elegant atmosphere and I enjoyed its abstract but so human not for everybody.
I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

WOAH this is usually not my type of music I listen to, but I love it  it has a really nice flow and the lyrics have a really nice poetic fluid sound with your voice and the music. i dont know if its your profile picture, but i feel like i'm underwater when i'm listening, lol its captivating

As Lenny said ... the vocal treatment is an artistic decision but I feel because of losing so much body of your voice you need to have it more up front so you can clearly hear the words.  If you take the time to listen to other rap artists who have posted on here in the past  they have got it because they are really clear or we are commenting on them needing to have greater clarity for the Vox.

Musically it is quite hypnotic and that side of it works well. I think the claps need to be more percussive they sound a bit limp where it should be a hit. Maybe you could add a sharp drum hit behind the clap so the drum is the hit but the clap adds a bit more ?

I love the lyric "songs help me pass away the time" ... that's what we are all doing that come on  here ;-)
