Peace Be Still- Instrumental
on: December 23, 2020, 14:04:16

Sometimes I think the simplicity of the music conveys more than complexity. Such was the motive here.

The  title is named for the biblical story where Jesus was asleep on a boat in the sea in the middle of a large storm. His disciples were afraid the boat was going to sink. They awoke Him and He said these simple words- Peace Be Still which in the story calms the sea immediately. I thought this was a good message during these troubled times.

Beautiful piece of music @Timothy Smith .........haunting and infectious.

Yes, a beautiful soundscape, like sailing with the seagulls over the calm sea towards the sunset after a hard busy day. As you pictured it. :)

Hola @Timothy Smith

It is a beautiful piece, for my ears it has the color of the Middle Ages due to its sound similar to the spinet or harpsichord ... I love it, very very beautiful and relaxing, full of space.

Stay safe and Merry Christmas
