Very cool stuff! I only listened to the first two cuts so far but I'm definitely impressed with your style and your sound. Nice style transition from "Send Him Home" to clouds.

I'm curious about what you might think of some of the other material that is being posted hereabouts.  ;)

Hey @Polestar  - that sounds really good. Broad and driving beat, spot on singing and cracking guitar, and bass in the mix.
I like the interlude at 1.07 minutes in "Send Him Home".

Can you explain a bit about the production? Was this recorded in a studio? Did you multitrack the lot or was there a band playing?
Lyrics first or was the music already available?

Curious to learn more
Cheers

I liked your style and the sound, however I think that sometimes the base guitars, so insistent and sharp, ask for more break. My headphones..?
I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

I really like it! The vibe, the sound, your voice. A little bit like U2. I hope you see that as a compliment!

Thanks Lynnalyx, appreciate the feedback - I think there is no harm being compared to U2 they were my favourite band growing up!

Hey there, thanks for the feedback - I get what you're saying. To be honest this wasn't really a proper song when I took it to my producer. Just some lyrics and he built something from scratch. Its more his style than mine, but we felt it could work as a good intro to an album!

Hi Oorlab, thanks for the feedback - I'm assuming you're talking about send him home? Yes it was recorded in a studio - I created a rough demo on my lap top about 15 years ago and we resurrected it! The original was more of an ambient song, but the studio rocked it up a bit. My producer came up with a sound scape recorded in sections in the studio (electric, guitar bass and a bunch of VSTs). The music/lyrics/vocals were already there in the demo but Marty put another spin on it - the lyrics and vocals are the same as original. Hope that answers your questions!
