R.I.P. (Final Stop) - Reworked
on: July 10, 2016, 00:16:52
Hi All,

@fischermans was so kind and allowed me to work on his outstanding song.
Personally I tend to find this the best one I have heard so far from him. (And I am not through everything he did yet)

After having worked on the track and pumped it full of everything (Strings etc) I finally came to the conclusion to throw most of it out.
Left is mainly his voice, his guitar, an accordeon and an epiano - and a train entering the final stop.

What an honour again to be part of this.

Heiko

Interesting combination of sounds. I think you should try to "enhance" the fusion of vocals (and guitar) and the athmospheric sounds. Maybe experiment with different reverbs. In the beginning the vocals sound much too loud to me. And it doesn't sound like the singer is in the same place all these other sounds come from. But if you could manage to melt all together into a whole soundscape, this really could carry the listener away into another world. And I think this would be great! :)

Thank you @it must be me, Dutchbeat? and @Mark Luto

@Mark Luto oh man....you are absolutely right. Thank you very much...makes perfectly sense. Just exchanged the file.
It has now a huge hall with reflective walls on it. Not too much but just one recognizes it is played in the station. (with a higher effect level on the background noise).
Also reduced the volume in the beginning a tiny bit. Must admit that I find it charming to have Alexander start singing all the sudden.
