Madrid Dja V (Psychedelic Fantasy)
on: January 14, 2019, 22:03:49
« Last Edit: January 15, 2019, 17:00:21 by Marcus Nalgaber »
The other day I was making a psychedelic base to record then some solo guitars but as I was listening to it, I started to get some melodies with my voice so I decided to connect the microphone and the Auto-Tune and let go of my imagination through my throat. The result is psychedelic and brings back many memories of our hippy times in Madrid. Regards  ::thumb::

instant like @Marcus Nalgaber  - very elegant music. How did you record the autotune? Is it a hardware version? Fine clip to of a nocturnal ride through the streets of Madrid

Hi @Marcus Nalgaber  wonderful music and video! It is a very artistic creation as are most of your works.  :ok:

This video is more clich with the car through the street thing but overall I really wish I knew how you make such excellent videos.  :) How do you do it?  :) Maybe someday you could start a thread in "other arts" section about how you do it?

I would love to learn some videography techniques from you.

I have two pedals that make me the auto-Tune
One of them is the most sophisticated and it is the VoiceLive 3 Extreme of TC-Electronics which is a very good pedal but the handling of the parameters of the Auto-Tune is too complicated for me and then I do not use it
But the other pedal that I have the Voice Tone C1 of TC-Electronics and the one that I use to work is much cheaper and easier to use by me
I use these effects to correct my detours, but what I like the most is that psychedelic touch you get with them.
I am mainly a guitarist and playing the guitar I always enjoy it, but using the voice and playing with it is something that makes me very happy from time to time to detoxify the hard discipline of the guitar.
Thank you very much for watching the video and commenting

Really cool experiment, definitely captured me in the moment. Well done on creating an almost hypnotic yet quite unconventional hypnotic monster!  ::thumb::
If you like novels with a musical theme, why not try 'Sixth Beatle - When Music Changed The World', easily found on Amazon and Google. It is amazing, although as the author I may be biased!

Truly it is the recording of a long vocal improvisation, from which I then choose the best pieces and then I edit them and with each other so that everything can have a conventional meaning.
I am basically a 100% improviser
My ability to improvise in real time is infinitely superior to my musical knowledge
If I start to compose a conventional melody slowly and seriously I'll probably just get some shit, but if I start to improvise and do not take anything seriously, then maybe something serious will come out

Making the videos is very easy
You only need a good video camera
A video editing program for the computer like Adobe Premiere
And a few months of time to practice and improve with the final finishing of the videos
When you already know how to handle it technically, what you will always have to do is have a personal way of doing it and be as demanding as possible with the small defects, so that the final result, even if it is simple, can be perfect.

What a great trip!

I'll say again that I really like what you do with your vocals.....it is so exotic.

Great sound in this.

I like the echoes and underwater sound of your vocalisations @Marcus Nalgaber . The busy street scenes are an interesting contrast with the trancelike music.
I enjoy your creations!

I think that the things that we like to do and with which we enjoy, should never be something to congratulate the person who makes them and for that reason I am very happy that my happiness can be shared and understood by other people  ::thumb::
