Since I'm not sure where to put this I'll put this here.

Hello everyone.

I haven't been very active here recently so I don't know how many of you know me.

I've just turned 68 (in Europe at least) and I got an email from the Kitchen celebrating my loss of one more year. One can hope that I still have more years to go.

All I can say for all the time I've been absent is that I've compiled a book of my recent poems and some of the song lyrics I've written between the years 1978 and 2019. Some of which were first made public right here in this space.

For any of you who've had a long-term commitment to writing from the depths of your heart... you will know how precious a few words of encouragement are. That's what I found in this community.

Though most of my time now is spent trying to figure out how to make some kind of living out of used books. I remember the fellowship I experienced here in this community of writers and musicians with great warmth. You played a part in my survival as a lyricist. I'm eternally grateful.

If anyone's interested I just put out a book of my recent poems and the lyrics I've selected from between the years 1978 and 2019.
