So many congratulations on my turning 50. Thank you very much. That was all very sweet, but also a reminder that I am now finally old. Thinking about this, I figured that 50 is not the only age at which all of a sudden people like to tag you with experience you never knew you had.

Experimenting on the tap guitar, the rhythm seemed quite indistinct, until I started tinkering with the beats a bit. All of a sudden, the song turned into reggae  ::Suzy::. Now I and I don't produce a lot of reggae, so I thought it would be a nice idea to see where this would get me.

First of.....I LOVE your stuff in general.

This one is very cool......a mash up of funk and reggae. So much going on to listen to. Love the lyrics and how you present them.

UB50! HA!

One thing from a mix standpoint.....I'm listening on my good headphones and those left and right toms are sticking out a bit to me.

@Leonard Scaper You are right about the toms. I will modify them a bit. Any better now?

Nice job with those toms. I think where you have them is very cool as they pull the attention out to the edges. They sound just right to me now.

Hi guys,

I am taking the song off SoundCloud for a week or so. There is a spamming site called SoundCloud-shop that keeps adding listeners to my songs, possibly hoping that I will buy some more from them. I am NOT going to do that ever, I don't make music for money, and I am not going to pay for listeners.

I cannot seem to block the site, as I can block users, but not links to urls that direct them to my profile..

If this happens more often, I am finally going to move to Hearthis.at

The song itself you can already hear there: https://hearthis.at/pleudoniem/ub50/

It's no use. This spammer even adds counts when I have it set to private. So real listeners heh? Who are you kidding? But I want this to stop. Any ideas? Trying to get in touch with SoundCloud is useless. They don't listen to their users.

I have exactly the same thing happening on my account since Friday nignt. I told the SoundCloud guys in a forum entry. They probably won't do anything about it though...

And about your psychedelic reggae style ... WOW! ::headphone:: ::headphone:: ::headphone:: ::headphone:: ::headphone::

@Mark Luto : I first thought it could have been a prank by one of my students. I am a teacher, you see, and adolescents often do things they regret later. But that is not so likely if it also happens to you. But if there are more users with the same problem, then something ought to be done. Or we might DDOS the site  C:-)

It's great that you liked UB50. I hope you will also like Close to home, which I recorded this weekend.

There seem to be more users having the problem indeed, judging from the entries about it in the SoundCloud forum. Let's see if they'll do something about it...

You know @Pleudoniem , I'm not exactly the best kitchener when it comes to reviewing songs, but I do listen to a lot of all the guys on here, and your work is certainly very intriguing to me. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person at the summit! You will be there, right? :)

Cheers,
Mark
