The guitar in this is probably my favorite! The bass tone is absolutely amazing as well! Great work!

Thank you @IsleofSkye
Every time I type your Alias or whatever it's called over here, I promise myself to find out if you're from that area.

Maybe you noticed that this song is posted as a part of a challenge. I hope to lure you away from your couch or table.  And do an entry as well.
Why not? It's not only the slick-produced things that score.

Anyway, I am more proud of my guitar sound than of my guitar playing.
All the singing and instruments are one take/instantly thought up and played, which only adds to the sloppiness of the song. And adds to the fun I am having in my 'studio'.
Thank you for listening and your comments.
Kind regards, Gus

Edit: Just now I saw that you have already joined the challenge! terrific!!! I'm going right back to give it a spin. Good luck to you and your song!

Like listening to a proper German Beer Hall Polka. @LePlongeur  I love your guitar sound.

Oh I like that. The origin of Zydeco. One sort of music that I like a lot. Germans are our next door neighbors.
Thank you for listening!

(You may have noticed that it's an entry for the Ballroom Challenge - I hope to lure you into that challenge as well!)
Kind regards, Gus

The waltz sig suits this perfectly.. It's kinda decadent in a gentle way.. I agree with the Pogues ref - it's partly the 3/4 and party the irreverence and I think that guitar part (which is wonderful)... Great, inventive and @LePlongeur , my highest compliment, very "Gus".

Very enjoyable !

Thank you so much @Goatrelated !
In France another drink is not just another drink, is it? In a country where policemen and -women are offered 1 liter wine to go with their lunch.
But apart from this, a beautiful country!
Kind regards, Gus

I am not the touch stone where dancing is concerned.
Ever seen a guitarist dance? Unlike my youngest son, I have a typical North Western European wooden bum. The difference is, he plays the violin.

I suppose somebody could fall in love while dancing, but ballrooming? A couple of pinguins courting over make upped ladies dressed in curtains? Can't really see how I could take that seriously.  It's very very decadent if you ask me. I tried to capture this very very in the lyrics.
These people, won't recognize a decent snog if they would stumble over it. Just my guess.

Thank you for listening and for your kind words. Any chance that you join as well? Not the ballrooming of course, but joining the challenge?
Kind regards, Gus

Good work Gus. Love the build-up to the Chorus which the arrangement - guitar work really supports.

The guitar is excellent - love the solos but especially love the grungy vibe in the verses - I love these little details in arrangements!

You have been listening to my way of composing. The lyrics are written in one flow and the tracks are recorded in one take.
The guitar sound is a rather cheap guitar: a Cort Sunset II with TVJones pick ups. I believe I paid something like Ä375 for it. A fantastic value for money guitar.

Itís not too late to join too in the challenge @Kafla !!! Why not I say!
Thank you for listening.

Kind regards, Gus
