Well Mr. @LePlongeur  , sir , I  am merely a minimod of the kitchen so I, therefore, have no control over what flavor of ice cream you get!  :)
Although if you ever make it to New England my Melissa is an ice cream connoisseur without equal. ... much like those who have a palette for the intricacies of the finest wines ..... a record kept of the greatest ice creams from here to New York to Vermont. Even vanilla has subtle shades.

I am really sorry if I angered you a bit or something more than a bit @Bill from November Sound . And you know my genius way of guitar playing.
We, both mods and meek Kitcheners, must try and come up with ideas to make this lovely kitchen more attractive. More lovely.
The kitchen needs it, we need it and the people who look for a broader exposure (and maybe some more professional advice along the way) need it too.
And a point I tried to make of course is how fickle audiences are. Even among peers.
Letís make up and be friends again and open a thread to angle for new ideas to polish (Polish???) up the Kitchen?

Let me hear you say yeh!!!!
Kind regards, Gus

I am still a bit puzzled and overwhelmed.
While looking for something else, I happened to see that the counter said: 1199.

So, with this post it must be 1200 listens and views!

Whatever the reason, yes, I am a  bit flattered too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Kind regards, Gus

I really like the sound of that guitar lead. Good playing, and a very nice riff.
I never liked spin-the-bottle..........no one ever wanted to play it with me ;-)
Great song......love the writing!!

Some 4 months and 110 new songs ago. I would never have guessed this long lasting playing/listening?
I donít like challenges unless I can contribute something thatís truly against the grain.
Written in the usual 1 hour and 40 minutes. And writing is recording for me. All the parts are one take recordings.

The Ďleadí guitars are the Cort Sunset with TV Jones pickups, sounding somewhere between a normal humbucker and something Gretsch like.

I am glad you like it @IronKnee and I thank you for your listen.
Kind regards, Gus

Dear Gus, notoriously absent over the past months the first song I stumbled upon was your superior walz. Took the wife on the dance floor for a spin. And yes, now we are happily dizzy and lay for apengapen. A really great song, man! All three of them: the music, the power sound and the lyrics. And now back into hibernation.
If you dig it, do it. If you dig it a lot, do it twice (Jim Croce).

Hoi hoi @Charlie

Hope this finds you well.
And I love it how you like it. Normally, I would reluctantly enter into a challenge, but one in 3/4 or 6/8 time, I found heartwarming. A neglected sort of music. So instead of a sugery sweet one, this one is a waltz with balls.

I hope your hibernation is not too long. I would welcome new posts with pleasure.
Welcome back!
Kind regards, Gus
