The Garden of Oblivion
on: September 30, 2022, 21:15:15
Hola!!!
I had a heavy work doing this song, it has been a challenge, at some moments I thought I could not finish it or beginning... But finally here it is.

Suddenly I realized
that I am like a statue
lost between the walls
of the garden of oblivion

I am immobile
I am insensible

I can only watch watch watch

with a quiet smile
carved by time
on my lips
of marble

I am immobile
I am insensible

I can't move my hands
nor my feet
nor open my mouth
to say living words
with a warm breath
and a wet tongue

I am immobile
I am insensible

If you look for me
but you don't see me
look into my eyes
that are now white wells

maybe you'll find the garden
and that statue
waiting there for you

jump naked
into that water of stone

nothing bad can happen

hug me desperately
as if you care
break the spell that has me trapped
with the hammer of your passion
I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

Sounds joyful at the start @Mora Amaro La Loba , because of the reggae-feel in the rhythm. The lyrics and images like themoving conductor-hands give a more mysterious feel. I like the geometric Mondriaan-like shapes circa 1 min and the bubbles at 2.50. Recommended to @Pleudoniem

Hi Mora..............Your lyric is very obscure and seemingly deep. They are something that I need to contemplate. The music flows very smooth.
Very enjoyable...........

I have listened to a great deal of your work, Mora, and I find the is to be the deepest and most complex piece that I have heard from you. The tone of this piece is perfect for delivering your enigmatic lyrics which, as @IronKnee mentioned, definitely invite serious introspection.

Often times an important work such as this can be the most difficult to complete. I'm glad that you stayed with this one.

Regards to your co-star, Marcus, for his customary tasteful guitar work.

Hoi hoi
Ha! A sort of bossy Nova.
Leave it up to me @Mora Amaro La Loba to murder your difficult language:

Bossa.  Nova. You’re the new boss. No doubt about it.

I like that, as long as @Marcus Nalgaber watches closely!

The darker side gets the upper hand. Last week I have been searching for the clip you made in the underground parking with the police outfit. Even as I type this, there’s a silly but uplifting grin on my face.

Anyway, thank you for posting this one!
Kind regards, Gus;
