Dear kitcheners,

some days ago i did a small lyric for collab but we decided then for some others but i couldn't get it out of my head.
They were inspired by this forum mostly and how the things going on here between users and its a about an important human attitude that is so powerful because highly contigous. So I thought that would be worth to pay a bit attention. It builded up in my mind over the days and i couldn't help it finally and did a quick & dirty production yesterday to put it out.
There are several things that I need to improve, mixwise as i need rather more space between the verses and chorus etc. and some more things. So i consider it as still a scetch. Don't want forget to mention that maybe it will be strange again for some ears, I'm sorry for that but of course would appreciate any thoughts.

Have a nice weekend!
Mo

The Travel

When Su was younger
once she hiked along the road
She was lonley in that rainy night
She maybe took a wrong turn
and didn't know why
Oh, how rich she felt,
when a farmer's truck stopped by

When she was lonley
 a farmers truck stopped by
ohohoooo hohoho hohoho
-

All the way the grumpy farmer
more or less was quiet
So she cheered him up
a little on their ride
He dropped her at the station,
and gave her a little smile.
It wasn't dearly paid
that he liked her style

When she cheered him up
he really liked that style

While waiting for the train
she made a new friend
with a half sammich and an empty bottle of coke
An old lady joined,
cause she heard them laughing
she shared stories
and suddenly the train came in

With a half sammich and an empty bottle of coke
Suddenny the train came in

When Steve Marriott signed something, a record, a tape, a boob, And that person said: ‘I like your music’, his standard but well meant reply was: ‘I like your taste’.
You publish a song as an ode to the Kitcheners, I take pride in answering: I like your taste.
But apart from that, you’re a Kitchener too.
So hat off to you as well?
Thanks!!!
Kind regards, Gus

Wow! This is SO unique! I really like it.....your vocal style is so cool and you have surrounded yourself with a production that fits perfectly.

I just hit replay.

hi @Mo

Yes - very unique and it really works.

I'm agreeing with @Leonard Scaper in that your vocals fit so well with the production. They are deep and the music adds the treble contrast.

I also your phrasing of words which is part of your unique sound.

Nice one!

cheers

@Leonard Scaper  and @Jurgen, you are exceptions, regular people don't like it if anything is different as they were used too! But so more I'm happy  about the opinion of you both as you seemes to be far experienced and it gives me some power to  continue for a while maybe. Thank you so much!
I'm truley proud that i could it make working for you, i tried with the things i have. I hope you will give me a  little hint also if it would be jjust akwarding pleasse.  ;)

With so much music out there.....and much of it sounding the same.......I think that songs like this one @Mo separate themselves and therefore stand out against that crowd. We may not all be blessed with massive musical talent but we CAN all still make our music if we dive deep into ourselves and pull out what we do have fearlessly.

Hola @Mo

I finally discover you, and what a curious discovery!!!
I like what you do, I like your style, I like that infinity of music in your phrases so sung, a psalm full of strength and difference that drags you in its march through recognizable or intuited images of what happens in this forum through the music of each one. Thank you for your thorough study of the ones we are browsing here.

Hurry you!!!!  ::heart:: ::heart::

Hola @Mora Amaro La Loba !
I appreciate your openess and I'm happy if the phrases do some sense for you! Its always helpfull to get different views.
Even i try to paint the spirit thats here is strongly around into few words, i tried to stay universal.
I promise, if you detected any similarities between persons in the picture and concret kitcheners it happens by accident, hah ha !  ::smiley::

@Mo - certainly likeable and unusual style. There were a few words / places in the lyrics, where a change of word might change the flow. That could be developed if sung more often in a band or group.
Keep it up!

That's good advice! I will pay attention then.  :ok:

Thanks to all!

Hola de nuevo @Mo

I have listened to your song again and today I have moved to another era, I have appeared in the middle of a march of invisible soldiers who were invading the panorama as your voice and instrument opened their way!
Outside of jokes, I've loved their difference again.
And if the music had a little more volume?  ::heart::
