Too young too old FAWM

For the FAWM, the second of my songs.

Our youngest was only a couple of months old, and after the third child, many people suddenly had a strong believe or opinion about sexuality. My sexuality that is.
And I thought: This is almost like if I were 17 again! I am now twice that age (in 1985), how will it be when I am twice my age then?
And I wrote a rough version of this song. I am at this moment about twice the age I was in 1985. I secretly enjoyed digging up that song and make a new rendition of it.

My guess is, that it's the newly made oldest original on the famous Kitchen forum.

It was one of the last songs I wrote in English. Soon after this one I decided to write in Dutch.
Which I did untill joining this forum in 2010.

In 1985 I was led by ‘A teenagers romance’, by Ricky Nelson.
Some 60 yers later, we probably would say it this way. But in that year political correctness was yet to be invented I guess.

I really liked your lyrics and the song. I understand it perfectly and see the image you describe, we are locked in a cage that conditions us to this or that.
I think that being too young is wonderful because any madness has an excuse, I am not talking about hurting others ... So I hope you will always remain too young and I believe that it will be.

No, honestly:
I personally think that growing old graciously is a very good idea.
And the love of my life is not for nothing the love of my life, so when we walk hand in hand we can perfectly do without the comment.

So, yes, unlike most other lyrics, this one is autobiographical.
Plus I liked the interval. 17 years, 35 and now 70. When I am 140 I’ll write another one.
