What May Be Planned

You taught me well,
Look at me now.
My feet won't touch the ground,
I'll cycle hard then I will  bow.

I balance well
but look ahead
The storm clouds gather purposely.
They stretch above my head.

See the road to the future,
my fate in her hands.
I'm strong in this moment
yet, I don't understand
what may be planned.

Set me free.
I'm good to go.
I wish to learn the lessons
not yet known that I must know.

If I should fall,
I'll be the same.
A snapshot of experience
within this earthly frame.

Let me dance in the rain, avoid the mundane.
I am not afraid to cycle over this terrain.

Really nicely played and sung with a very poignant lyrical message.

Nice listen for me at the end of a day in the studio.

A beautiful piece Paul. I love the guitar and the delicate vocal delivery. The lyrics come over as heartfelt and sincere. No crits from me here. I really enjoyed the listen.
