Just had a listen to the new mix @Leonard Scaper and the new bass is much more subtle which I think suits the song more.

Great song!

Agree with Jurgen.
And what's more? Charts #1 in subgenre today (says Soundclick) !
Now I never gave attention to this, but fame and fortune is ahead. Including large wheelbase cars and 5 beautiful women who'll stop at nothing.
Pity they bring along 5 mothers in law (or mother in laws) too. Hope they can cook.
This is so much better @Leonard Scaper !
But better is also a matter of taste of course.
Kind regards, Gus

@Jurgen ....thanks for that extra critical listen. Yes, I think I finally got that bass guitar into the right spot. I am using an 1176 compressor on it and that style compressor can easily add too much. I had to dial it back a little.

@LePlongeur ......I am chuckling about #1. I don't watch those rankings much but I do admit that it feels good to know that a song is landing on ears somewhere. Regarding fame and fortune , those cars and those 5 women......been there, done that. My fortune, such as it was, stayed with the women and those fine Peugeot sedans are now rusting in various junkyards. I still have what's important thanks to friends like you and a community like this.  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I'd love to be able to play the piano. As always this song really has an atmosphere..it's your vocals I think that take me away to where the song is, you really set the mood. Just fantastic.

@gabrivux ....thanks so much for your appreciation. I really appreciate you stopping by to listen to this one and I'm pleased that it resonated with you.

Thanks for that @realkevm . I can't say that I really play piano. My fingers just tend to find places to go on the keyboard sometimes that helps a song along.  ;)
