Yeah this is indeed very relaxing. I can totally hear this in TV commercial for... something being advertised at the beach... cold beer... ice cream... you get the idea :D

I would actually say the synthy blobs are very okay, please leave them in there! Love those electronica bits being introduced around 1:23.

Very cool as well is that 'drop' at 2:14, I think the sorta fuzzy bass sound in this is one of the track's highlights for me.

The arrangement sounds reeeaally complex, kudos on this, I like that in a song.

I wouldn't really know where to take this musically, especially concerning vocals (although I don't think this needs any vocals neccessarily), but I would like to make two suggestions if I may:

Put a bit of delay on those pizzicato strings, they are a nice touch, but sound a bit too forward to me...

And I could imagine some more percussion being introduced towards the end of the track. Some unusual rhythms or sounds maybe... search your kitchen (not this kitchen) for stuff that makes noise when banged together and record it! (I'm serious  ;D)

Everytime I hear a new track of you and Bin I feel like I'm being introduced to a completely brand new genre that's never been there before. You combine and mix so many and different sounds in these, it's always a nice surprise to hear what's next. Good stuff ! :)

This is super cool.  Love the sax when it comes in. There are a lot of interesting sounds in this being used sparingly. I like that, it keeps the interest level high.

I am awarding a karma point for this - I was going to give you two 'cept I am a tight wad so one it is  ;D ;D ;D

This is certainly a very well arranged and laid back track...very cool 8) beautiful guitar...I like the synth blobs...is that sax real? if so I'd like to hear it take off on a solo...I was wondering about a muted trumpet in this ??? I'm no virtuoso, but I do play to some degree :-[ I agree with Michael as far as vocals :) anyway great production guys :) CS

I think this is seriously good. Very smooth, I love how it kind of grows into more of an electronic track as it goes on...so smoothly.

I think where you've gone with it is great. It's a chill out track, and works perfectly as that.

I can imagine vocals, I think... but I like instrumental. Maybe just one small part with a short vocal melody would be interesting.

I think you could make a lot more of the Sax, it's a bit lost in the mix and could feature a bit more generally.

The guitar playing is beautiful! The whole track is beautiful I think... I like this kind of ambient jazzy kinda feel.

Only thing I might pick at is the mix. It was hard to say for sure but something might have been causing slight distortion, something not totally clean in my ears. Also I think the whole mix could be wider, maybe it's my preference but I'd spread things out much more in the panning.

Lovely stuff,

Dek

PS. noticed your point about donating... I don't have anything to give but wish I did. I can kind of hear a voice going with this, but mine probably isn't the fit.

  Hey Dutch,

  I've been listening to this a lot.....and really like it ;D ;D

I agree with the comments about the sax.....and would love to hear more of that, it sounds very 'Baker Street'  ;D

I think its got enough going for it as an instrumental....very easy to listen too, full of hooks and melodies.

Not sure if a vocal would suit this mix.  But it would be nice to hear someone give it a go ;D

Good mix and production mate......Love it

Hey BIN and fellow kitcheneers...

i just landed lyrics (from Liam) and vocal melody on this.....and i am so excited about it, how it sounds in my ears, i just had to tell it  ;D ;D ;D

but i will keep the instrumental, but i think i really have something here that preserves the relaxing coolness of BIN's music and guitar with bluesy vocals and words, about someone getting out of depression, so somber, but with loads of hope, touches of light etc....

i talk too much, i know, but wait till you hear this  ;D ;D ;D ;D i know i am on to something here  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
