Thank you @budhabuilding   ... I'm a little overwhelmed  ... so it'll be a while to go through all this. I appreciate your help.

Hi @budhabuilding  and @oorlab  and @Dutchbeat    .... a new update for the program came out "Fixed built-in Mod Wheel not sending MIDI CC values to assigned MIDI correctly"  ... I think ... or at least I hope this is the company's way of describing my major problem as some minor inconvenience. I'm trying it now.  :bonk:

Another really interesting thread...

Like @Layerson I have used GB on a mac for getting down ideas mainly because I can use their "drummers" which keep in relatively in time.

I got lazy though and only used the amp simulators not just for ideas but for actual recording.

I then switched to Reaper and recorded using real amps and mics which meant I had to think about the sound and mic placement as not so easy to change the sound afterwards.

Reaper is very powerful and loads of great tutorials on youtube to help you get started.

Now I just use a Tascam DR-44 and then import the track(s) into Reaper to mix and master.

But I'm only doing demos and ideas so this basic approach works well for me.

So ... I updated and was still having problems. So at this point @budhabuilding  I'm going to say axiom controller is sending the pitchbend messages. I tested the tracks after shutting of the controller and everything was right on. So I since used the "data" buttons on the controller: pitchbend wheel and data 1 to isolate, data 2 to set min to 64 and data 3 to set max to 64 ..... to essentially disable the pitchbend locking it there at 64.
It seems to be working.  ::)   I hope.
No more pitchbend for me, I guess.  :-[

@Bill from November Sound
   Hope it will fix it.

Maybe you can use the editor to use the modulation wheel to just use pitch up.

Just an idea.    :ok:
