Dear kitcheners,

For the 5th anniversary of the kitchen Hans ( @budhabuilding  ) created a fantastic VST instrument especially for us kitcheners! It even has real kitchen-styling! Thank you so much Hans, for all your effort AND giving this VST to the kitchen for free!
:pompom: :pompom: Make sure to give Hans ( @budhabuilding  ) a lot of karma to thank him!!  :pompom: :pompom:
One day in the future we're probably going to have a kitchen challenge to create a song using this plugin as well  ;) ;)

Specs:
127 Kitchen percussion sounds
23 Ambisonic recordings in the kitchen (for those bedroom headphone producers)
8 Kettle, pots, pans and plate instruments

Available in
VST and AU for Mac 64bits universal
VST Windows 32bits and 64bits
VST3 Windows 64Bits

All samples recorded in a real kitchen with the Zoom H1n.
For the Ambisonic recording used the Roland CS10EM

Here's the download link:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-HKsmmDxsEGk7mvvx7M3YLjy6xfEFLXQ?usp=sharing

Installation on Windows:
Just download the right zip of your choice, unzip and copy the files in to your
virtual instrument / plugin folder.

Installation on Mac:
See the post below

Cheers all,
@budhabuilding and @Mar T.

Hi guys,

NICE! :)

What you need to do to install it is this:

1) unwrap the package and cmnd+c the VST.
2) go to library/audio/plugins/vst
3) cmnd+v the vst.
4) start your DAW, and select it.

Mac can be a little confusing when it comes to finding the folder in 2. I got there by going to 'devices' (in the sideline), then MackintoshHD/library, etc...
Pleudoniem: composer; bass guitarist; guitarist; singer; drummer; tap-guitarist - o, and yes... erm- a bit of keys. Open for collabs.

This is so cool, thanks @budhabuilding and @Mar T.   ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb::

as you know, my knowledge of software and computers is pretty.....limited, but i think i could probably best use / download

the VST Windows 32bits version?

what is the VST3 thing...? (sorry for my ignorance)
me, myself, and Pie

Not for a mac, you shouldn't. The windows version does not work on a mac. The VST has no installer, so you need to install it manually. That works just fine the way I described above, but if anyone knows a better way, I'd be happy to learn about it ;)

:pompom: Thanks a lot @Pleudoniem , for sharing the Mac installation instructions with us! Appreciated!  :pompom:

@Dutchbeat VST3 is a newer 'spec' than VST(2). Reaper (your DAW) can handle VST3. And your Asus runs 64 bits windows, so in your case I'd choose the VST3-64bits Windows version of the plugin..  ::) ::)

@Dutchbeat @Mar T.  is right and you can use all versions of windows in reaper.

for vst3

1> just download vst 3

2> extract to a folder/directory/map

3> copy the files in to your vst folder/directory/map
3a> right click on the extracted folder/directory/map
  3b> select copy
  3c> goto harddrive c:
  3d> goto program files
  3e> goto common files
  3f> goto vst3
  3g> paste the extracted folder/directory/map

now start or restart reaper of your daw of choice  ;)
Just set all my solo  music free at https://budhabuilding.bandcamp.com
