Pre-amps/compressors that aren't too expensive.
on: February 23, 2020, 16:56:21
I know @Leonard Scaper and others had had conversations about pre-amps  . and I know Leonard uses something that is quite high end  :)

You know I work with a very dynamic singer . from whisper to digital clip in 2.3 seconds  :D

Does anyone know of a less expensive clean sounding pre-amp compressor combo? I don't want to alter my sound much I just want to push up the quiet sounds very slightly and keep the signal from clipping.
Maybe there is no such thing as a less expensive one of those? I don't want anything that sounds tinny so I can save up my money for a while if needed.

November Sound is based on the Mother, Father & Son musical trio of Melissa, Bill & Will. I'm the father so anything I post will have my wife singing and/or my son playing percussion.
