Recording Tips for Beginners (guitars, vocals, drums)

Hi, my name’s Andrew, and I’m a bearded, beer-loving sound engineer from Belarus. I’ve been mixing other people’s music for about nine years now, working mostly with unsigned indie musicians from Europe and Russia. I read all of your tips! I like the humourous parts about the bass players, drummers, etc. ... practical but wtitten with that dry humour and wit.
